Mr. Tommy Titus, 64, a lifelong resident of Calhoun, died Friday, July 17, 2020, at his residence surround by his family.

Tommy was born in Rome, GA on January 21, 1956, son of the late, William John Titus and Edna (Bobby) Alexander Titus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Larry Sutherland, and sister-in-law, Debbie Sutherland. He was employed as a P.U.D Truck Driver for Southeastern Freight for more than 30 years. He loved his family and cherished his grandchild and was a member of New Life Ministries in Adairsville.

Survivors include his wife, Deidrea Sutherland Titus to whom he was married for 32 years, daughter; Sierra Titus Benton (Jake), son; Brodie Titus (Tala), grandchild; Stevie Rae Benton, sister; Linda Langston (Rusty), mother-in-law; Carolyn Sutherland, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law; Donald and Dawn Pierce, nieces; Sonja Wright, Roxann Nance, Breanna Brown (Michael), nephews; Slader Pierce (Morgan), Brantson Pierce and Shawn Langston.

The Titus family will receive friends, Sunday, July 19th at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. A private graveside will follow on Monday, July 20th. with Pastor, Steve Morrow and Chaplain, Bill Holland officiating.Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines will be followed, and wearing a mask will be optional.

Active pallbearers include; Slader Pierce, Brantson Pierce, Michael Brown, Jake Nicholson, Jake Benton, and Ryan Craw, honorary pallbearers will include; Associates of Southeastern Freight, Johnny Thompson, Russell Parrott, Benny Morrow, John Lane, Billy Hiles, Donnie Dillingham, Jerry Houser, Cal Lookabill, Billy Smith, Kelly Duffy, Frank Sullivan, and Kious Andrews.
