Obituary

Kristopher Jason Prickett passed away at his home at the age of 39 on September 10, 2022.

He is survived by his father, John Billy Prickett, Jr. ( wife Anita Kay) and mother, Tonie Green Hall (wife of John Hall), John Tyler Prickett, brother and friend. Grandmother Joanne Green; Kristen Hall, sister by marriage; aunt, Debra Prickett Wheeler (husband Ricky Wheeler); Jason, was predeceased by grandparents, John Billy Prickett, Sr. and  Ruth Lawson Prickett; Jimmy Green; infant brother Jonathan Eric Prickett; and uncle, Michael Green.

Kristopher Jason Prickett, or Kris in his professional life, served the public with distinction and merit as a member of the following organizations throughout his career - firefighter(Gore Volunteer), police officer, FEMA, and the Tidal Basin Disaster Recovery Group. He graduated from the University of Georgia Terry School of Business earning a Bachelor of Science in Business with focus on Risk Management and Accounting. He later completed his Master of Science from Jacksonville State University in Emergency Disaster Management. Along with awards, certificates, and being a healthcare emergency management subject matter expert. At the time of his death, he was attempting to compile, compose, and author a text book based on his time in healthcare emergency management, law enforcement, and FEMA public assistance.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2022, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

A service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation on Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
