Gracie "Blankenship" Sutherland, 72, of Calhoun, Georgia died Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Noland Hospital. She was born on March 27, 1948, in Gordon County to the late William Walter and Laura Pearl Bell Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jean Blankenship Raines and Rev. Luther Raines.
She is survived by her nephew, Ronnie Raines; her great-nephews, Rev. Kevin(Gina) Raines and Dustin(Savannah) Raines; her great-niece, Jessica Gilland; great- great niece and nephew, Kolton Raines and Nia Leslie; several friends and other relatives also survive.
To honor her wishes the family had a private graveside service at Sugar Valley Old Methodist Church Cemetery.

Gracie and I were friends in school and then later on we became 1st cousins by marriage..She was a wonderful lady and friend...She will be missed...
