Obituary

Jeff Compton, 54, of Chattanooga and formerly of Calhoun, died on Friday, March 8, 2019, following several months of declining health. Jeff was born in Billings, Montana on December 3, 1964. He was the son of the late Winston J. Compton. His mother, Olive Compton, survives him. Jeff was a graphic designer; he operated Signs and Wonders in Calhoun.
Along with his mother, Olive, survivors include his sons, Jayden and Jarrod; his sisters, Wendy, Hope and Faith; his grandchildren, Ashton and Amelia.
To honor his wishes, Jeff's body was cremated. The family will gather at Sugar Valley Church of God on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. to celebrate Jeff's life.
