Obituary

William Leroy Hazelwood, 76, of Plainville, passed away Friday, December 4, 2021 at Etowah Landing in Rome, Georgia after three years of declining health.
Mr. Hazelwood was born in Bartow County, GA on October 27, 1945, son of the late William Calvin and Inez Collins Hazelwood. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing was his favorite pastime.
Survivors include his sisters, Louise Stanley and her husband Bennie of Plainville, Martha Joann Bohannon and her husband Ronald of Plainville; nephews, Travis and Kyle Bohannon, Curtis Stanley along with great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. William Leroy Hazelwood will be held Monday, December 6th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Reynolds and Rev. John White officiating. Interment will follow in Scott Cemetery near Plainville, GA. Music will be arranged by Dylan Stanley. Pallbearers serving will include, Curtis Stanley, Dylan Stanley, Travis Bohannon, Kyle Bohannon, David Collins and Trey Logan.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 6th between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
