Wesley Derrick Bussey

Wesley Derrick Bussey, 65, of Piedmont, Alabama, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 27, 1958, to the late Clarence T. and Shirley Latham Bussey. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Egbert J. Bussey and Mark R. Bussey.

Wesley is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Glynis J. Bussey; son, Derrick Bussey (Tracy); daughter, Amanda J. Bussey (Brian); brothers, Tommy Bussey (Linda), Sammy Bussey (Ann), Randy Bussey, David R. Bussey, Sidney Bussey (Sue); grandchildren, Calli D. Bussey, Carlos Diaz, Camie Bussey, Ashlyn T. Bussey, Chase Barnhart, Carley Bussey, Antonio Diaz, Tyler Barnhart; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Barnhart, Lily Barnhart, Amanda Barnhart, and Kade Barnhart.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
