Wesley Leon Bailey

Wesley Leon Bailey, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026. He was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on June 30, 1940, to the late Roy and Jeanie Hollis Bailey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Johnnie Mae Childers Bailey and Linda Greeson Cagle Bailey; son, Charles Bailey.

He is survived by his sons, Steve (Karen) Bailey, Keith (Kerry) Bailey, Terry (Jessica) Bailey; daughters, Teresa (Rogelio) Najera, Holly Bailey; daughter-in-law, PJ Bailey; sister, Ethel (Jerry) Knight; grandchildren, Leon, Gary, Kevin, Flora, Jeremy, Camron, Jayven, Andrea, Ariel, Terrance, Nicholas, Jazzell, Kali, Kelita, Maleah, Shealin, Calab, James Jr., Skylar, Dakota, Ethan, Katie, Kayla, Kelsie, Christina; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; nephews, Michael Knight and Johnny Knight.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Winford Casey officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in Hayes Cemetery.
