Wayne LaVonne Hollingsworth

Wayne LaVonne Hollingsworth, 70, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on July 16, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1955, to the late Dewitt and Mary Hollingsworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Darnell Hollingsworth, Tommy Hollingsworth, Charles Hollingsworth, Jerry Hollingsworth, Max Hollingsworth, and Steve Hollingsworth.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gilbert; sons, Shane Hollingsworth, Dwayne Hollingsworth, and Chris Summers; daughters, Audra Hollingsworth and Brittany (Kyle) Kinsey; grandchildren, Ava Gravitt, Laura Gravitt, Paizlie Hollingsworth, Lyncon Hollingsworth, Izaya Hernandez, Naomi Hollingsworth, Kael Kinsey, Alina Kinsey, and Ellie Mae Ellegood.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow on Monday at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Sherriff officiating.
