Wanda Lee Gentry

Wanda Lee Gentry, 64, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024. She was born in Marietta, Georgia, on February 17, 1960, to the late Wiley and Iranelle Garland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Daniel Garland, Wiley William Garland Jr., and sister, Sherry Ann Garland.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gary Gentry; son, Gary Matthew (Jennifer) Gentry; daughter, Rebecca (Bradley) Martin; brothers, Donald, David, and Joel Garland; sisters, Linda Pass, Eva Cerito, Marcia West; grandchildren, Rowan Martin, Azaylee (Owen) Lingerfelt, Trenton Gentry, Audrey Gentry; great-grandchildren, Silas Shawn Pickens, Owen Lingerfelt Jr.; special friend, Brenda Wilson.

Wanda was a generous and loving person. She was also very artistic, loved to paint, play the piano, and sing, and was very strong in her faith.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Sonoraville Baptist Church.  The Gentry family will receive friends at the church on Sunday beginning at 1:00 PM.
