Wanda Ann (Charvat) Jones, 67, of Calhoun, Georgia died Saturday, September 11, 2021. She was born on July 1, 1954, in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Arthur and Geneva Williams Charvat. She was preceded in death by sister, Carolyn (Jimmy) Watson.
She was employed by Spring Industries and GA Tufters before retiring. She loved the Lord and reading her Bible. She was a member of Newtown Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws, Carrie (Charles Gray) Jones and Wendy (Sean) Adcock; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry (Linda) Charvat and Kenneth (Martha) Charvat; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce White, Mellissa (Brad) Price, and Paula (Mike) Johnson; grandchildren, Caitlin (Zan Smith) Adcock, Michael (Brittney) Adcock, Matthew (Caitlin Currier) Adcock, and Caleb Adcock; great grandchildren, Leo, Sierra, Xavier, Mazie, and Asa.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newtown Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 4:00 pm from Newtown Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Crowe and Rev. Mark Yoho officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Brad Price, Xander Meissner, Gary Mayhugh, Randy Thomas, Lamar Walraven, and Jeff Rogers. Honorary pallbearers are, Sr. Adult Class at Newtown Baptist Church, Teresa Short, Martha Charvat, Tina Holland, and Brenda Pack.
