Tracy Marie Rush, 49, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on April 13, 1976, to Deborah Mills Ball and the late Jimmy Ball.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Matthew Rush; children, Chance Rush and Savanah Weaver, Christopher Rush and Destiny Burnett, Christian Rush, Selena Rush, Hannah Rush and Teagan King, Kortni Rush, and Braelyn Rush; mother, Deborah Ball; brother, Mickey (April) Ball; sister, Crissy Ball and Joey Windiate; and grandchildren, Emmett Rush, Pierce Rush, Journee Peek, Zepplynn Duke, Reid Duke, Toccoa Rush, Atlas King, and Allan Fryar, all of whom lovingly knew her as “Gigi.”
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by Imagene Ball, Perry Ball, Lillie Mills, and her niece, Elsie Mae.
Tracy was the most loving, caring, and beautiful mother a child could hope for. She had a heart big enough to meet every need and was always willing to open her door and her arms to anyone. Tracy adopted and helped raise many children throughout her life, dedicating herself to loving and caring for others. She especially loved cooking and preparing meals for her very large family, creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and love.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Holbert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Christopher Rush, Matthew Ball, Brian McKee, Chance Rush, Christian Rush, and Ty Windiate. Honorary pallbearers are Teagan King and T.J. Burchett.
