Obituary

Mr. Tony Wade Gravitt, 62, of the Plainville Community, passed away at his residence following several years of declining health.
Mr. Gravitt was born in Gordon County, Georgia, on January 3, 1960, the son of the late Clyde and Barbara Jo Ray Gravitt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, McKenzie Hall. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Murray Mix as a truck driver.
Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Gravitt Hall and her husband Terry of Rome, April Gravitt Brunner and her husband Donald of Plainville; grandchildren, Madison Hall, Kaleigh Ford, Amanda Brunner, James Brunner, Sierra Brunner, Dillon Brunner; great-grandson, Ryder Ford; one brother, Jo Don Gravitt and his wife Melanie of Plainville; nephew, Justin Gravitt; and other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 4th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wiley Walden officiating. Interment will follow at Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include, Randy Elkins, James Brunner, Justin Gravitt, Mark Rice, Dewayne York, and Daniel Monteith. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Brunner and Terry Hall.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home on Monday, April 4th beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM.
