Obituary

Tommy Frank Woodall, 83, of Calhoun, GA passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022. He was born in Warren, Arkansas on February 3, 1939 to the late Aubrey D. Woodall and Jewell Dean Adcock Woodall. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Ernest Ray and Sandra Woodall.
Tommy served his country in the United States Air Force Active Duty from 1957-1960. He continued serving in the Guard and Reserve for another 29 years. He retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Sugar Valley Baptist Church.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nelda Rush Woodall; sons and daughters-in-law, Wendall Ray Woodall (Cheryl), Tommy Randall Woodall (Jamie); daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa Woodall Musick (Mark Bounds), Melanie Woodall Smith (Scott); grandchildren, Brittany Woodall Jones (Stuart), Lauren Woodall Corn (Tyler), Sarah Woodall, Chris Musick (Heather), Tiffany Musick, Brandon Musick (Emily), Katie Woodall Roberts (Josh), Jordan Woodall, Madeline Woodall, Gabby Woodall, Frankie Woodall, Madison Smith Strickland (Joseph), Audrey Smith Roetto (Ashton), Caden Smith; great-grandchildren, Elisha Woodall Jones, Lilah Woodall Jones, Lucas Corn, Liam Corn, Ethan Musick, Addison Musick, Derek Musick, Jayden Price, Emma Roberts, Addison Roberts.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM at Sugar Valley Baptist Church.
The funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 2:00 PM from Sugar Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Georgia National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rick Davenport, Scott Whitener, Wendell Gordy, Bruce Mealer, Jim Davenport, Ed Harkins, Marshall Babb, and Bud Clance. Honorary pallbearers are the Young at Heart Sunday School Class of Sugar Valley Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Sugar Valley Baptist Church Childrens Ministry.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Tommy Frank Woodall.
