Tommy Rudolph Brumlow, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on November 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Tommy was born on September 21, 1939, in Calhoun, Georgia, to Dorothy and Calvin Brumlow. He grew up in the Calhoun area and was known throughout his life for his steady presence, quiet strength, and unwavering work ethic.

For 26 years, Tommy worked at Kuhlman Chenille before co-founding the family business, Brumlow Mills, with his son, Mitchell. His dedication, dependability, and hands-on leadership helped build a legacy that continues through his family today.

Tommy married the love of his life, Nina Black, and together they shared 65 years of marriage. Their home was filled with love, laughter, family, and countless memories. Tommy was especially proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the life they all built together.

Outside of work, Tommy enjoyed simple joys that brought him peace—watching football, following NASCAR, and most of all, spending time on the front porch with Nina, surrounded by their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Those moments were his greatest treasure. Tommy attended Trinity Baptist Church and was a member of the Rock Sunday School Class.

Tommy is proceeded in death by his parents, Calvin and Dorthy Brumlow and brother in law, James Patterson

Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Nina Brumlow, and their three children; Mitzi and Russell Powell, Mitchell and Tammie Brumlow, and Chad and Angie Brumlow; Adrienne Brumlow, mother of Chad’s children; grandchildren;Jarod (Kess) Powell, Josh (Lacy) Powell, Jake (Brandi) Brumlow, Weston (Deidra) Brumlow, Emily (Tyler) Knauss, Claudia (Evan) Townsend, Will Brumlow, Wyatt Brumlow, Blair Williams (Robert), Baylon Spector (Rylie), and Brannon Spector; Great grandchildren: Joseph, Lydia, Mitt, Elle, Hamp, Thomas, Cal, Lane, Jack, Madelyn, and Boone; siblings, Margaret Patterson and Jack (Andrea) Brumlow.

The family will receive friends at Trinity Baptist Church, 1170 Rome Road SW, Calhoun, GA on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A service to celebrate Tommy’s life will began at 4:00 PM with a reception following in the Fellowship Hall. Private burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jarod Powell, Jake Brumlow, Weston Brumlow, Josh Powell, Will Brumlow, and Wyatt Brumlow

Honorary Pallbearers, The Rock Sunday School class, Steven Dupree,Bud Owens,Joe Powell, Howard Brock, Roy Chadwick, Steve Bone, and Jason Carter

Tommy’s legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the business he helped build, and the countless people whose lives he touched with his steady presence and quiet kindness. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
