Obituary

Terry Lamar Stanfield went to his eternal reward in the early hours of December 6, 2022. He experienced declining health due to renal failure. This sickness forced him to leave his 47-year job at Clark Lifts/ Materials Management, Inc in Dalton. He began his career there as a mechanic and ended as a successful salesman. He loved his job and spoke fondly of the owner and his family.
Terry was the 4th child of Jack and Vivian Muse Stanfield. Lynn(Hilda) and his twin, Larry(Carolyn) died in 2002 and 1999, respectively. Terry is survived by sisters, Karen Fauber(Wayne), Gail Brake(Warren), LaDonna Gay(Paul), and sister-in-love, Hilda Stanfield. Terry was blessed with many wonderful nieces and nephews. Terry loved them all but shared a special bond with Christian Stephens as they worked on the restoration of our Dads 1966 Ford. Terry was thrilled when his great-niece Sadie came to his house for pre-dance photos.
Terry was saved in his later years and believed in the power of prayer. He was able to face many near-death experiences because of his faith. He died peacefully in his sleep.
The celebration of his life will be at Crane Eater Community Church on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Visitation is 5:00-7:00 pm, and the service will begin at 7:00 pm.
He will be buried at the church cemetery in a private family service. Pastors Howard Strickland and Paul Gay will speak, and CECCs Praise Team will be in charge of the music.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CECCs building fund. The address is CECC, 3168 Red Bud RD, NE, Calhoun, GA
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the Stanfield family.
