Obituary

Teresa Kay Chilton Greeson, 66, of Sugar Valley, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was born in Cedartown, Georgia, on March 24, 1956, to the late John and Marian Chilton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Allen Weathers.
She is survived by her sons, Randy (Mindy) Greeson, Cody (Bailie) Greeson; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie (Rusty) Childress; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeff (Sharon) Chilton, Mark Chilton; grandchildren, Callie Powers, Jarrett Greeson, Nora Greeson, Oaklee Greeson; significant other of 8 years, Danny Hartzo; father of her children, Tommy Greeson; nieces and nephews, David Childress, Shelly Bearden, AJ and Daryl Weathers, Andy and Zack Chilton, Marissa Chastain, Tishanna McClure; great-niece, Lindsey Adams; caregiver, Betty Samples.
In the 1980s, Teresa ran an in-home daycare and impacted many childrens lives. She was also the owner and operator of The Chocolate Drop.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Greeson, David Childress, Donald Brunner, Kenny Hughes, Lindsey Adams, and Betty Samples. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Teresa to the Ronald McDonald House in Chattanooga, Tennessee, by clicking the donations tab at the top of the obituary page.
