Obituary

Mr. Thomas Theodore "Ted" Seabolt, passed away at Dalton Place on October 19, 2022, surrounded by his family. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Madge Clements Seabolt; a sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Buddy Smith; brother-in-law, Dwight Greeson.
Ted is survived by one son, Chris Seabolt (Sabrina); grandchildren, Maeson and Judd Ray; brothers, Frank Seabolt Jr. (Ginger), Don Seabolt (Karen), Randy Seabolt (Debbie), and Kenny Seabolt (Sharon); sisters, Jean Sisson (Sanford), Ruth Greeson, and Brenda Tomlinson; along with several nieces and nephews; special friend, Linda Sue Seabolt.
Ted was born on June 16, 1948, in Gordon County, where he was a lifelong resident of the Nicklesville Community. Ted attended Red Bud High School and served in the United States Navy. Ted spent 25 years with the Gordon County Fire Department, serving as captain during his career. Teds favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed Georgia Bulldog Football, Atlanta Falcons, and NASCAR. He was of Baptist Faith.
Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Theodore "Ted Seabolt will be held in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service hour of 3:00 pm. A private burial will be at Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Red Bud alongside his parents. Services will be conducted by Eddie Brannon. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers include Johnny Frix, Cotton Gentry, Donnie Sutton, Mike Satterfield, Eddie Timms, Gary Holbert, Danny Elrod, Jimmy Johnson, and Larry Walraven.
The family would like to thank the staff of Dalton Place Memory Care and Amedisys Hospice for all their help during their time of need. The family would also like to thank the Brannon family for always going above and beyond to serve our community.
