Tammy Lethco

Tammy Lethco, 66, of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. She was born in Dalton, Georgia on June 8, 1960, to the late Hairl and Ruby Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lethco III.

She is survived by her aunt, Barbara (John) Horner Collins; uncles, Danny “Tommy” Horner, Dwight Michael “Mikey” Horner; many cousins also survive.

Tammy was a graduate of Southeast High School and devoted many years to the Dalton Daily Citizen. She enjoyed visiting churches to hear the singing. She loved her annual trips to Gatlinburg with her extended family and going to Lake Winnie. She enjoyed shopping and driving new cars. She loved her cat, Tubby, and her mom was her best friend.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 1:30 PM from Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Pallbearers serving are Dale Horner, Brad Shipman, Hunter Swanson, and Aaron Watson. Honorary pallbearers are Danny “Tommy” Horner and Dwight Michael “Mikey” Horner.
