Obituary
Tammy Hannah, 57, of Rome died at Gordon Hospital on Friday, November 30, 2018 following several years of declining health. Tammy was born in Atlanta on December 15, 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Clyde Goss; her grandparents, Effie and Willis Godfrey. Tammy was a registered nurse; she worked at Floyd Medical Center, at Gordon Hospital, in the office of Dr. Will Theus, and finished her career as a hospice nurse. She attended Floyd Springs United Methodist Church.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Steve Mitchell, Her son and son-in-law, Rusty and Barry Hannah; her brother and sister-in-law, Harold Michael and Judy McNelley.
The family plans a celebration of Tammys life on December 15th, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the ECO Center in Rome, at 393 Riverside Parkway in Ridge Ferry Park, in the upstairs part of the building.
Tammy's family wishes to express their deep and heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care she received at Gordon Hospital. They will never forget the wonderful treatment, and are especially grateful the staff of PCU on the 2nd floor.
