Sybil Clark

July 25, 1930 — August 12, 2006

Mrs. Sybil Fox Clark age 76 Calhoun passed away Saturday evening August 12th at her residence after three years declining health.

Mrs. Clark was born in Floyd County, GA on July 25th, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Gordon Glasco Fox and Cora Culberson Fox. Preceding her in death was her husband, Orvin Jackson Clark to whom she was married for 40 years and two sisters, Vivian Joeatte Fox and Mary Dell Fox Parrott. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and an active member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Encouragers Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Clark is survived by three daughters, Orvinell Roberts and her husband Rickey, Vivian Glass and her husband Steve and Lavone Fowler and her husband Steve all of Calhoun. One brother Troy L. Fox and his wife Carolyn of Resaca. Grandchildren; Tina Roberts Jackson and her husband Jerry, Tara Roberts Sewell and her husband Sidney, Christina Glass, Brittany Glass, Joshua Fowler, Jacob Fowler all of Calhoun. Great grandchildren; Chase Jackson, Cole Jackson, Ethan Sewell, Ellie Sewell and Tyson Glass.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Sybil Fox Clark will be conducted Monday August 14, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. from the Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Brannon and Rev. Tony Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers serving will include Chase Jackson, Cole Jackson, Joshua Fowler, Jacob Fowler, Jerry Jackson, Sidney Sewell, Randy Balliew and Rickey Holden. Honorary pallbearers include the Encouragers Sunday School Class, Brian Priest, Ryan Wilson and Larry Darby. Mrs. Clark will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Sunday after 5:00 p.m.
