Susan Spalding McGivern

Susan Spalding McGivern, 61, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025. She was born in Miami, Florida, on October 5, 1964, to Anna Chapman and the late David Spalding Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael McGivern; mother, Anna Chapman; son, Paul (Stacey) Bean; daughters, Melissa (Clint) Westbrook, Jana McGivern, Kimberly McGivern; brother, David (Elizabeth) Spalding; sisters, Melissa Spalding (Derek Tellier), Becky (Jose) Alonso; in-laws, Dave McGivern, John McGivern, Bob (Page) McGivern; grandchildren, Mason, Hannah, Olivia, Victoria, Eli, Lennon, Veronica, Lyanna, Rebecca, Chance, and Haleigh. Many nieces, nephews, and lots of extended family and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Pineo officiating.
