Sue Ellen Bryant, 67, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026. She was born in Rome, Georgia, on April 24, 1958, to the late Merlie and Eloise Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Mitchell Evans.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Doug Bryant; son, Ben Parker (Chelsea Chandler); stepsons, Sawyer Bryant, Jake Bryant; daughter, Brooke Weldon; sister, Merle Evans; grandchildren, Ella Offutt, Milayah Bryant, Layton Parker, Eden Weldon, Emerson Bryant, Mills Parker, Connor Bryant, Winnie Parker.

Sue Ellen adored her grandchildren and never met a stranger. Her kindness touched everyone she encountered. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and made a lasting difference in the lives of so many in need.Sue Ellen had a deep love of entertaining and was always trying to propagate a good time. She was definitely the life of any party. She loved going to the Moose, doting on her grands, spending time with her kids and loving her soul mate Doug.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Stacy Hensley officiating.  The men and friends of The Moose Lodge will be honorary pallbearers.

The family asks that plantable flowers or seeds be given. 

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Sue Ellen Bryant.
