Stetson Wayne Welch

Stetson Wayne Welch, 35, of Resaca, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026. He was born on December 2, 1990, to Mark Welch and the late Tammy Welch. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willis Postell.

Stetson is survived by his children, Brantley Welch, Montana Welch, and Angel Welch; sister, Carrie Welch (Danny Mathews); father, Mark Welch; grandmother, Marie Postell; aunts and uncles, Vivian and Wade Baldwin, Jeff and Pam Postell; cousins, Rose (Alex) Locklear, Amber (Donny) Douglas; step-daughter, Chloe Sutherland.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Grace Church.

Pallbearers will include, Kevin Mulkey, Brandon Grubbs, Justin Patterson, Nathan Duke, Ethan Patterson, Jeff Postell, Wade Baldwin, Danny Mathews, Alex Locklear and Jackson Locklear.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM from Grace Church with Bro. Brandon Grubbs.
