Stanley Moore

Mr. Stanley Moore age 53, of Ward Mountain Rd. Adairsville, GA passed away September 21, 2006. He was born in Newnan, Georgia on May 8, 1953 son of the late Paul Moore and the late Mary Ellen Clements Moore. Stanley was a member of Salem Baptist Church and worked for Galey and Lord Industries for many years. He was preceded in death by a brother Ray Moore and by a sister Faye Richardson.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-six years Elsie Mae Bailey Moore of Adairsville. One son and daughter-in-law; Scottie and Sherrie Moore of Calhoun. Two daughters and son-in-laws; Sherry and James Dudley of Adairsville and Tracey and Shane Reynolds of Calhoun. Four brothers; Joseph Moore of Hogansville, J.W. Moore of Rome, Jimmy Moore of Calhoun and Johnny Moore of Eatonton. One sister Reta Peterson of Newnan. Six grandchildren; Braylee Moore, Lance Reynolds, Anthony Reynolds, Izetta Dudley, Hailey Dudley and Brittany Dudley.

Funeral Services for Mr. Stanley Moore will be conducted Saturday at 4:00 p.m. from the Salem Baptist Church with Rev. William Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordon Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers serving will include Danny Parker, Daniel Bailey, Dewayne Bailey, Alfred Searles, James Dudley and Shane Reynolds. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will include Terry Poe, Jeff Poe, Lance Campbell, Clay Baker, Clint Baker, Glenn Cleveland and Stacey Hunt. These gentlemen are asked to meet at Salem Baptist Church Saturday at 3:45 p.m. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday after 6:00 p.m.
