Stanley Eugene Mefferd
December 25, 1947 — January 27, 2009
Mr. Stanley Eugene Mefferd, age 61 of Calhoun, passed away January 27, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Fairfield, Iowa on December 25, 1947, and had lived in Calhoun for three years, moving from Citrus Springs, Florida. Mr. Mefferd had been employed as an executive recruiter, and was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Dalton.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Noreen Inlow Mefferd; a son, Jerald M. Mefferd of Greenville, Mississippi; a daughter, Katherine E. Mefferd of Calhoun; three sisters, Kathy Barta of Omaha, Nebraska, Charlene Shaw of Ames, Iowa, and Cindy Thompson of Maine.
A memorial service for Mr. Stanley Eugene Mefferd will be conducted Saturday, January 31 at 1:00pm from Christ the King Lutheran Church in Dalton, with Pastor Clay Seneker officiating.
