Sidney Eaker

Mr. Sidney Lee Eaker, age 55 of Summerville, Georgia; passed away, Friday, May 31, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center following a brief illness.

Mr. Eaker was born on August 25, 1957 in Nebraska; son of the late Sidney Zeke Eaker and Arlene Smith Eaker. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a son; Benjamin Lee Eaker and a stepbrother, Glenn Hall. During his lifetime, he served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War; was employed at Mount Vernon Mills and enjoyed being a motorcylist on his Harley Davidson.

Mr. Eaker is survived by his wife, Connie Eaker of the home. One son; Lee (Tot) Eaker of Rome, Georgia. One sister, Vickie Adams. Three brothers; Greg Eaker of Rome, Georgia; Joey Eaker of Calhoun, Georgia and Eric Eaker of Lake City, Florida. Two stepbrothers; David Hall and Melvin Hall both of Calhoun, Georgia. One grandson; Benjamin Lee Eaker. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service for Mr. Sidney Lee Eaker will be conducted at a later date. Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun, Georgia; a legacy of care and compassion; is conducting the funeral services for Mr. Sidney Lee Eaker, age 55 of Summerville, Georgia..
