Shonta Harris, 44, of Calhoun, Georgia died Saturday, January 29, 2022. She was born on July 21, 1977, in Dalton, Georgia to Terresa Gowens Harris and the late James Larry Harris.
Shonta worked at Walmart for 25 years. She was a member of Calhoun Community Church
She is survived by her mother, Terresa Gowens Harris; sister and brother-in-law, Selena and Justin Johnson; nephews, Spencer (Celeste) Jones, Jackson (Hayley) Jones, and Ayden Johnson; niece, Gillian Johnson; great nieces, Presley Jones, Waverly Jones, Ellie Jones, and Baylor Jones; grandmother, Helen Weaver; special aunt, Mary (John) Hicks; cousin, Taylor Hicks.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Calhoun Community Church.
The funeral will be conducted on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 1:00 pm from Calhoun Community Church with Rev. Jerry Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
