Obituary

Shirley Henson, 72, of Calhoun, Ga passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022. She was born on December 10, 1949, to the late Charles and Ruth Lomax Childers. She was preceded in death by her late husband, J.D. Fowler; brothers, Randall Childers and Lamar Childers.
Shirley was a member of Salacoa Baptist Church.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Gary Phillip Henson; son, Jason Fowler; daughter, Tina Fowler; brothers, Ed Childers, Ralph Childers, Doug Childers, Clint Childers, Keith Childers, Reed Childers, and Mark Childers; grandchildren, Hayden Fowler and Jessica Fowler; great-grandchildren, Zelda and Zander Fowler; step-children, Patricia Smith, Phillip Henson, Shane Henson, Nancy Epperson; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, friends bring covered dishes.
