Shirley Ann Tinsley

Ms. Shirley Ann Tinsley, age 71 of Resaca, GA passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Calhoun Health Care. She was born in Forsyth County, GA on November 11, 1942, daughter of the late Herbert Clay Tinsley, who died in 2000, and the late Kathryn Ruth Hyde Tinsley, who died in 1998.

Shirley had been a resident of Gordon County for 25 years, moving here from Cumming, GA. She was retired from Cherokee Liquidators, and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Cumming.

Survivors include three brothers and sisters-in-law, Clay and Yvonne Tinsley of Resaca, Charles and Willie Tinsley of Greensboro, GA, and Carroll and Mary Tinsley of Cumming.

A graveside funeral service for Ms. Shirley Ann Tinsley will be held Sunday, February 16th at 2:00 PM from the New Harmony Cemetery in Cumming, with Rev. Jackie Stewart officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
