Sherard Weston Parks

Sherard Weston Parks, 66, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025. He was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on April 8, 1958, to the late Harold Kenneth and Mary Ann Parks.

Sherard loved to play softball and could be found strutting around the bases at the Calhoun Rec Department. He enjoyed his time with his friends, and to those that knew him well called him “Dog.” Prior to his retirement, he worked for many years at UPS.

He is survived by his sister, Martha Ann Stewart; nephews, Joseph W. Stewart and Eric A. Stewart; great-nephews, Joseph W. Stewart, Jr. and Draven Stewart; great-niece, Danavee Bright.

To honor his wishes, his body was cremated, and no formal services were held.
