Obituary

Scotty Clinton Childers, 57 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1964, to the late Eugene Clinton and Ivey Lee Childers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Childers.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Kimberly Childers; son, Nathaniel Lee Tate; daughter, Caylee Deanna Childers; brothers, Gary (Janice) Childers, Jerry Childers; sister, Brenda Sue Russell; sister-in-law, Diane Childers; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and furbabies Twinkles and Trixie also survive.
Scotty loved to hunt and fish and to spend time with his family. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and was employed by Pine Hall Brick.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will follow the visitation at 12:00 noon from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Webster officiating.
