Obituary

Sandra Patterson, 75, of LaFayette, Georgia died Thursday, November 17, 2022, after several years of declining health. She was born on June 23, 1947, in Gordon County to the late James (Jim) and Ruby Garmon Cook. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Boy Patterson in 2011; son, Kevin Patterson; brother, Jim Cook; sisters, Gail Ghorley, Betty Jackson, and Annette Strickland.
Sandra spent most of her life in Gordon County and she was of the Christian Faith.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy (Dana) Patterson and Gene (Charlotte) Patterson; daughter and son-in-law, Sandee Morgan (Justin) Stanley; sister, Joan Warren; grandchildren, Kinsley Patterson, Cameron Maddox, Kaley Maddox, Kayla Patterson, Will Patterson, Shawn Patterson, Adrian Wade, Todd Wade, Preston Wade, Jessica Patterson, Ashley Patterson, and Gene Patterson; several great grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Matilla officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview at Hall Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Skyler Stanley, Darlene, Justin Stanley, Billy Patterson, Tony Hunter, and Justin Stanley.
