Obituary

Russell Ray Brunni, 58, of Resaca, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, following several years of declining health. He was born in Landstuna, Germany on March 7, 1964, to the late Russell Ralph and Syble Smith Brunni. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Spriggs and Nikoli Brunni, and grandson Derrick Brunni.
He is survived by his wife, April Michelle Brunni, son Russell (Jessica) Brunni; daughters Jasmine (Jeremy) Bray, Cheyenne Brunni and Caleb Wynn; brothers, Randy (Kimberly) Brunni, Richard Brunni and Tarin Powell; sisters, Cathy (Jerry) Bradley, Jodie Brunni Quinley; grandchildren, Madison Stone, Bentley Brunni, Owen VanDyke, Aurora Brunni; caretaker Jennifer Walraven, close personal friend Cathy Duvall; other cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
Russell was big fan of Alabama Crimson Tide football. He loved to fish and spend time on the lake.
To honor his wishes, his body was cremated, and no formal service will be held.
