Rufus Thomas Whitener

Mr. Rufus Thomas Whitener, 61, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025, after a period of declining health.

Mr. Whitener was born in Dalton, Georgia, on November 19, 1963, the son of the late Rufus Whitener and Dorothy Jean Kemp. He worked in the asphalt paving industry for many years.

His body will be cremated, and there will be no public memorial service.
