Ruby Causby Mashburn

Mrs. Ruby Causby Mashburn age 89 of Resaca, passed away Friday July 13, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Mashburn was born in Murray County on November 23, 1917 daughter of the late Bob and Bertha Rogers Causby. She was a retired textile worker at Herbcraft Mills and was a member of Casey Springs United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn (Bud) Mashburn and by two sisters Essie Calhoun and Orabelle Freeman.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and cousins. Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby Causby Mashburn will be conducted Sunday at 3:00pm from the Casey Springs United Methodist with Rev. Isaac Johns, Rev. Kenny Bailey and Rev. Jimmie Timms officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. James McBrayer conducting the graveside service. Active pallbearers serving will include Mitchell Mashburn, Buddy Hawkins, Doyle Johns, Bill Price, Barry Troglin and Clayton Timms. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home Sunday at 1:45pm. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the Casey Springs United Methodist Church or the Maple Grove Cemetery Fund. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday after 5:00pm.
