Roy Blaylock

Roy Blaylock, 77, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. He was born in Carters, Georgia, on March 26, 1948, to the late Cicero and Ad Blaylock.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherine Blaylock; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy “Scott” (Robin) Blaylock, Benjiman Thomas (Heather) Blaylock, Jeremy “Bean” (Brooke) Springfield, Joe Springfield; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Beth (Hunter) Quarles; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carter (Martha) Blaylock, Michael (Donna) Blaylock; sisters, Rita Willett and Debbie Blaylock; grandchildren, Baylee Blaylock, Megan Blaylock, Sawyer Springfield, Rowe Springfield, Riggs Springfield, Wyatt Springfield, Emma Springfield, Owen Springfield, Huntley Quarles, Ryder Quarles, Payton Quarles, and Seth Quarles; great-grandchild, Braxton Wagner.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Sawyer Springfield and Rev. Hunter Quarles officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Jason Cronan, Wesley Grizzle, Rocky Marlow, Willie Pritchett, Wyatt Springfield, and Sawyer Springfield. Carter Blaylock and Michael Blaylock will serve as honorary pallbearers.
