Obituary

Rosie Lee Edwards, 85, of Calhoun, Georgia died Monday, July 5, 2021. She was born on September 4,
1935, in Floyd County to the late Samuel Buck Lumpkin and Roberta Nelson Lumpkin. She was
preceded i n death by her husbands, G.L. Stephens and Jack Edwards; son, Jerry Stephens; daughter,
Sheila Gunderson; sister, Addie Bolins.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Stephens; brothers, Harry Lumpkin and Carl Lumpkin; sister, Annie
Brown; grandchildren, Cory Stephens, Eric and Christina Gunderson; 7 great grandchildren; other
relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and
Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM from College Street Church of God
with Bro. Dewayne Smith and Dr. James Shope officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial
Park. Pallbearers are, Cory Stephens, Christian Stephens, Sam Brown, Lindsey Jackson, Scott Herrod,
and Daren Woodring.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to College Street Church of God.
