Rosey Mae Morehead

Mrs. Rosey Mae Morehead, age 75 of Calhoun passed away Monday April 16, 2007. She was born in Murray County, GA on December 14, 1931 daughter of the late Doc Bearden and the late Irene Patterson Johnson. She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett C. Morehead.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law; Nancy and Mike McGavin of Chatsworth and Bobbie and Fred Dukes of Calhoun. Sons and daughters-in-law; Jesse and Ginger Morehead of Staford, Kansas, David and Wanda Morehead of Calhoun, Junior and Dimple Morehead of LaFayette and a step-son W.G. Morehead and his wife Betty of Dalton. Three brothers; Raymond Bearden of Chatsworth, Bo Bearden of Calhoun and D.A. Bearden of Summerville. Four sisters; Barbara Johnson of Chatsworth, Mary Bearden of Chatsworth, Viola Elrod of Chatsworth and Lena Mae Boatright of Tunnel Hill. Fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosey Mae Morehead will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Minister Terry York officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitfield County. Pallbearers serving will include Kenny Morehead, Chris Morehead, Rob Morehead, Russell Harris, Phillip Cash and Eric Charles. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday after 12:00 noon.
