Ronald Willix

Mr. Ronald Willix, age 62 of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Floyd Medical Center. He was born in Gordon County on March 6, 1946 son of the late Virgil Willix and the Dorothy Fortner Willix. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Duvall Willix, and was a member of the New Town Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Michael Willix of Calhoun; a granddaughter, Kathrynn Stockman of Calhoun; and a brother, Mac Willix of Calhoun.

Funeral services for Ronald Willix will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. from the New Town Baptist Church, with Rev. Calvin Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
