Ronald Steven Roberts

Ronald Steven Roberts, 78, of Sugar Valley, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026. He was born on June 17, 1948, to the late William “Bill” Roberts Sr. and Ann Holsomback Swanson.

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Barbara Ann Roberts; sons, Joseph Steven Roberts (Christy) and Jeff Roberts; daughters, Kim Gravitt (Steve), Michelle Harmon (Tim), and Kay Shirley (Robert); step-sons, Danny Tate and David Tate; brother, William Oogie Roberts (Jane); grandchildren, Logan Roberts, Tanner Harmon, Corey Wade, Tyler Gravitt, Kesha Russell, Amber Kennon, and Austin Kay; many great-grandchildren; uncle, Sam Holsomback; aunt, Andrea Patterson; close friends, Chuck Sarrells and B. B.; nephew, Andy Roberts; and niece, Teresa Brown.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Andrew Roberts, Conner Brown, Steve Gravitt, Tyler Gravitt, Austin Kay, and Tanner Harmon.
