Robin Clements Rainwater, age 70, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Advent Redmond Hospital in Rome, Georgia.
Born to the late Thomas W. Clements, Jr. and Maxine B. Clements of Calhoun, Robin grew up rooted in love, faith, and family—values she carried with her throughout her life. She was the devoted sister of Scott Clements and his wife, Traci.
Robin married John Rainwater in 1980, and together they shared 45 beautiful years. Robin leaves behind four children, each of whom she adored beyond measure: Scott Rainwater (Monica) Ira Todd Epps (Kimberly), Ashley Rainwater Moore (Chad), and Blake Rainwater. Her heart overflowed with pride for her six grandchildren—Connor Moore, Camden Moore, Payton Epps, Harper Moore, Parker Epps, and Hensley Moore—who were truly the lights of her life. Robin also held a special place in her heart for her nephews, Chandler Clements (Ella) and Andrew Clements (Cecelia), whom she loved like her own.
Robin spent many years serving others through her work at Harbin Clinic and later at Ashworth Middle School as a paraprofessional in Special Education. Her compassion, patience, and gentle spirit touched the lives of countless students and coworkers. In 2009, she retired to take on the role that brought her the greatest joy—being “Nana.” She embraced every moment with her grandchildren, pouring into them all the love, laughter, and happiness she had to give.
Robin was the epitome of kindness and selflessness. She lived every day with a giving heart, always putting others before herself. She loved Disney trips, beach vacations, sunsets and any occasion that meant being together with the people she loved most—her family. Her “Good Morning” posts on social media were a daily reminder of her warmth and positivity—simple gestures that will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
To know Robin was to love her. She was smart, gentle, faithful, and full of all that is good in this world. Her passing leaves an unfillable void, but her legacy of love, devotion, and kindness will continue to guide her family and friends. Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that this is not goodbye. We will see her again.
We have lost a bright and beautiful soul, but her light will continue to shine in the lives of those she touched.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
A private graveside service will be held in Chandler Cemetery.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Robin Clements Rainwater.
