Obituary

Robert (Bob) Davenport, 84, of Calhoun, Georgia died on September 14, 2022. Robert was born in Calhoun, Georgia on April 21, 1938. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie May Mathis, and his son, Jeffery Davenport.
Robert served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Anne Davenport; and daughter, Janet Davenport Leek (Chris).
To honor his wishes, he will be cremated, and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 2:00pm at Fain Cemetery with Rev. Randy Muse officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Robert (Bob) Davenport.
