Obituary

Rita Arlene (Elvin) Chandler, 53, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was born on May 5, 1969, to the late Wanda Faye Lanza. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by Lettie Mae Boggus and Ray Franks.
Rita is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Charci and Timothy Baldwin Jr., Brooklyn Wyatt, and Jennifer and Jamie Whitten; brother, Randy Long; sister and brother-in-law, Trenda and Junior Summerford; grandchildren, Dyllen Baldwin, Ivey Baldwin, Rae Baldwin, River Wyatt, Silas Wyatt, Taylor Moore, Hollis Erwin, Robin Whitten; nieces and nephew, Ashia Franks, Stacie Muse, and Thomas Franks.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The memorial service will follow the visitation on Friday at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Junior Summerford officiating.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Rita Arlene (Elvin) Chandler.
