Ricky Lynn Steely

Ricky Lynn Steely, 59, of Calhoun, Georgia, danced his way into Heaven on April 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dalton, Georgia, on July 27, 1966, to the late Don and Ann Steely. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Steely; brothers, Tony (Gail) Steely, David Steely; sisters, Donna Steely, Janet Hewitt; nieces and nephews, Eli Dacus, Abby Dacus, and his parter in crime, Solomon “Solo” Nilsen.

Ricky knew everybody and never met a stranger. He was extraordinarily funny and kept his doctors and nurses laughing during his hospital stay. No matter how down someone was, Ricky could brighten their day.

To honor his wishes, his body was cremated and a private family service will be held.
