Mr. Raymond Ray “Cooter” Hall Jr, 50, of Rydal, Georgia, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Hall was born in Pickens County, Georgia on December 6, 1972; the son of the late Raymond Ray Hall Sr. and Hazel Young Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Carringer and Annie Mae Redd.
He was employed by Quality Packaging Corporation of Calhoun; was a member Canaanland Christian Center in Adairsville, he loved to read the bible and through his testimony, he led many people to the Lord Jesus Christ; he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, playing softball and pitching Horse Shoes. He attended Sonoraville and Fairmount School.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Coggins Hall; daughters, Tiffany Hall Holmes and Jasmine Hall; son, Zachary Hall; one step-daughter, Reva Jade Coggins; one step-son, Lance Ingram; siblings, Charlotte Kay and her fiancé, Allen Richardson, Crystal (Jerry) Cole, April (Duke) Young, Lynn (Tracey) Young, Celena (Richard) Avery, Tanya (Sam) Young, Billy (Pam) Bradshaw, Bryan (Cynthia) Bradshaw, Burnan Hall and Terry Hall; three grandchildren; step-mother, Christine Hall; uncle, Don Bowling; father-in-law, Junior Noel Ingram; mother-in-law; Deborah Ingram; along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Ray “Cooter” Hall Jr will be held Saturday, February 25th at 1:00 PM from Pleasant Valley Full Bible Church, 489 E Pleasant Valley Road, Adairsville, GA 30103. Rev. Stacy Hensley, Rev. Lamar Long and Rev. Arthur Jenkins will officiate. Pam Long will have charge of the music. Pallbearers serving will include, Bobby Ray, Shane Greeson, Jeremy Davis, Darrell Bradshaw, Chase Parker and Dustin Davis. Honorary pallbearers serving will include, Brandon Bradshaw, Duke Young and Kenny Young.
The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday at Pleasant Valley Full Bible church beginning at 5:00 PM Thursday, February 23rd until the funeral hour.
