Raymond Ernest Pack

Raymond Ernest Pack, 81, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on October 27, 1943. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Sue Pack; sons, Randall Pack, Kyle Pack; daughter, Wanda Hogan; sister-in-law, Nellie Gentry.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Sabrina) Pack, Wayne (Tammy) Pack; grandchildren, Roxie Hogan, Ashley (Daniel) Miller, Jessica (Kevin) Glenn, Amber Heath (Kyle), Faith Teem, Tiffany (Joyce) Pack, Kristi Pack, Christopher Pack; sister, Betty Pack; 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Michael said of his father, "my Dad is and was the greatest man I ever knew.  He came from nothing, one of 12 children.  He worked harder than anyone I ever knew.  Everything he touched turned to Gold.  He was always there and never let us down."

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving are Sammy Ward, Parker Dobson, Austin Pack, Jayden Gilley, Junior Gilley, and Robert Dobson.
