Raymond Louis Weatherly was born on 7-21-1956
Parents were the late Raymond and Laura Mae Weatherly
One brother Lester Weatherly, Sister-in-law Cheryl, Aunt Agnes (Mickey) Weatherly, and nephew Harley Weatherly.
Raymond Weatherly was a professional saxophone player. As a touring musician he was known only by 'Stormy'. This would be the name his friends called him his whole life in business and onstage.
Stormy joined The Army in 1975 as a 02L2B saxophone player. He was a member of 'The 392d Army Band' in Fort Lee, VA
After the military he spent many years on the historic 'East Coast Music Circuit' before landing in the retail music business. He worked many years at 'The Music Room' in Rome, Ga.
Later he became owner/operator of STORMY'S MUSIC located on Shorter Ave in Rome, Ga.
He was most recently a part-time employee at Pete's Music City located in Calhoun, GA
As a professional saxophone player a few of his most prideful moments onstage was performing with Christian artist Phil Keaggy and Jazz giants 'Bela Fleck and The Flecktones'.
After returning to Northwest Ga in 2017 he joined the rock group 'REVOLVER' with longtime friends and members John Harris, Ben Harris, Dallas Duvall, Bruce Mcleod and James Willis.
He also loved motorcycles and was a member of 'The Christian Motorcyclists Association'.
Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society 3380 Chastain Meadows Pkwy NW #200, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
He will be missed by all that loved him.
To honor his wishes his body was cremated and his cremains will be spread on his grandparents grave in South Carolina.
