Obituary

Randy Walraven, 60, of Ranger, Georgia died peacefully while surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, July 31, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on August 2, 1960, in Gordon County to Billie Ann Wilson Walraven and the late Floyd Walraven.
Randy was a member and deacon at Maranatha Baptist Church. He was employed by Fafnir Corporation for many years and prior to retirement, he was employed by Dow Chemical.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan Dodd Walraven; sons and daughters-in-law, Caleb and Rachel Walraven, and Cody and Melonie Walraven; daughter, Cassie Castoe; grandchildren, Mae Castoe, McKenzie Walraven, Marlie Walraven, Aniston Walraven, Bo Cochran, and Halle Walraven; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Kim Walraven, and Tim and Tabitha Walraven; sisters and brother-in-law, Teresa Adcock, Cynthia Dixon, and Tina and Kent Green; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 2, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Richard Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kent Green, Tim Walraven, David Correll, Danny Walraven, Andrew Adcock, and Adam Adcock.
