Randall Bryan Mathews

Randall Bryan Mathews, 63, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026. He was born on April 6, 1963, to the late George Clifford Mathews and Inez Hightower Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Mathews Sr.

Randall is survived by his wife, Donna Faye Mathews; son, Bryon (Jessica) Mathews; daughter, Holly Mathews; sisters, Betty Mathews Wilson, Peggy Pitts, and Marilyn (Keith) Gibson; grandchildren, Connor Lewis Robinson, Evie Mathews, and Aeri Mathews; and several nieces and nephews.

Randall was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He loved to fish, hunt, ride motorcycles, and could do anything with a computer. He also enjoyed doing mechanic work, especially on his “work in progress” Jeep.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Fairmount First Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM from Fairmount First Baptist Church with Rev. Delmar Ledford and Betty Mathews Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Crane Eater Cemetery. Pallbearers are Connor Robinson, Ray Mathews, Jonathan Mathews, and Glenn Wilson.
