Ralph Ray Cole

Mr. Ralph Ray Cole, age 66 of Calhoun, passed away May 11, 2007 at Quinton Memorial Health Nursing & Rehabilitation in Dalton. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on March 15, 1941, son of the late Sarah Louise Cole Franks. Mr. Cole was an electrician in his lifetime, and was a member of the Sugar Valley Masonic Lodge #733 F&AM. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his former wife, Joyce Cole of Plainville; three sisters, Gennell Arnold of Resaca, Gloria Sartin and her husband A.J. of St. Augustine, Florida, and Darlene Bearden and her husband James of Dalton. A granddaughter, Rashea Abbott of Calhoun, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Ray Cole will be conducted Monday, May 14, at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park with full Masonic Rites. Active pallbearers serving will include Jason Arnold, Cody Dills, Mitch Worley, James Bearden, Joey Arnold, and Branden Dills. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home Monday at 10:00am. Honorary pallbearers will include members of the Sugar Valley Masonic Lodge #733 F&AM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
